A NOTE FROM SCHOOL NURSE
The temperature in Phnom Penh and all over Cambodia will continue to be extremely warm until at least after Khmer New Year. Infants and young children are prone to heat-related illnesses. Their bodies cannot regulate temperatures as effectively as those of adults. Therefore, they rely on parents or caregivers to keep them safe during this time of intense heat. Below are some safety tips from UNICEF regarding how to care for infants and children.
